A satisfaction survey for your race: find out what your runners think.
When the race is over, every participant receives a short survey in their own language, inside the same email as the certificate or in its own email. They answer it in a minute on their phone and you see the overall score, whether they would recommend your race and what to improve, section by section. Anonymous, with no paper and no third-party forms.
You run every edition blind: nobody tells you what went wrong.
After every race, the same thing happens:
What runners really think they tell each other, not you.
You hear about complaints through a comment on social media, when it is too late to fix them.
Setting up a survey with third-party forms takes time, you have to hand over the emails and hardly anyone opens it.
You don't know whether the problem was the course, the aid stations or bib pickup: all you get is "good" or "bad".
You can't compare one edition with the next because every year you ask different things.
Runners from abroad don't answer a survey that is only in Spanish.
With CronoMeta the survey goes out at the end of the race, in each runner's language, and the answers reach your dashboard neatly organised.
Everything you can do
Questions ready to use
Overall score, would you recommend it? from 0 to 10, organisation, course, aid stations, bib pickup, timing, would you come back? and a free comment.
Tailored to your race
Remove the questions that don't apply (aid stations at a group run, for example) and add up to two of your own.
It goes with the certificate
If you send the thank-you certificate from the participant area, the email includes a "Rate the race" button. If not, you send the survey on its own with one button.
In each runner's language
The email and the survey go out in Spanish, English, French, Italian or German, depending on the language of their registration.
Truly anonymous
You see the scores and comments, never who answered what: that way people answer honestly. And each entrant can answer only once.
Results straight away
The average score, the Net Promoter Score (NPS), the score for each section, the "would you come back?" answers and every comment, with a CSV download.
What it is for
🔧 Knowing what to improve next edition
If aid stations score 2.8 and the course 4.6, you know where to put the effort (and the budget) next year.
🤝 Winning over sponsors and councils
A score of 4.5 out of 5 and plenty of runners who recommend the race are hard numbers to renew support and permits.
📣 Getting to know your best ambassadors
Anyone who gives you a 9 or a 10 will recommend your race. The NPS tells you how many there are and how it changes from one edition to the next.
🚨 Spotting a problem in time
A badly marked stretch or a slow bib table shows up in the comments before it turns into a bad review.
👟 Also for group runs and fun runs
No timing or results needed: with CronoMeta's online registration you can already send it to everyone who signed up.
Designed to get answers
- ✓ It takes one minute on a phone: stars, numbers and a comment if they like.
- ✓ It can only be sent and answered from race day onwards, and it closes by itself after 30 days (or on the date you choose).
- ✓ You can send it to every entrant or only to those who picked up their bib with the bib pickup app.
- ✓ Nobody gets it twice: not those who already had it in the certificate email, nor those who already answered.
- ✓ For races with several distances, one survey covers them all.
- ✓ Nothing to buy: it is under Marketing → Encuesta in each race's dashboard.
It's this easy
In your race's dashboard, open Marketing → Encuesta and switch it on.
Remove the questions you don't need and add your own if you like.
On race day or afterwards, send the thank-you certificate or press "Enviar encuesta".
Watch the score, the NPS and the comments as the answers come in.
Frequently asked questions
How much does the satisfaction survey cost?
Nothing. It is included free in every CronoMeta race, without buying any module.
Is the survey anonymous?
Yes. You see the scores, the Net Promoter Score and the comments, but never who answered what. Each entrant can answer only once.
Can I change the questions?
You can remove the template questions that don't apply to your race (the overall score always stays) and add up to two questions of your own, with stars or a free answer.
When can it be sent?
From race day itself; before that it can be neither sent nor answered. By default it closes 30 days later, and you can change that date.
Does it reach runners in their own language?
Yes. The email and the survey go out in the language they registered in: Spanish, English, French, Italian or German. Your own questions appear exactly as you write them.
What is the NPS?
The Net Promoter Score. For the question "would you recommend this race to a friend?", from 0 to 10, the percentage of people who answer 0 to 6 is subtracted from those who answer 9 or 10. It ranges from −100 to +100: above 0 is good and above 50 is excellent.
Listen to your runners and improve every edition.
A short, anonymous survey in their language, sent with the certificate or on its own, with the results neatly organised in your dashboard. Free for all your races.
